I rushed to her first.

She was feeling thirst.

So I pulled it out and gave her my juice.

Harder her lips pressed, the more I produced.

It filled her mouth and moistened her lips.

She swallowed till the very last drip.

A sigh of relief after her last gulp,

A broad smile, quenched thirst, smooth juice, no pulp.

Relaxed minds, tensions free, limbs unwound,

Our ears now soothed by the silent sounds.

Clamors of the outside now receded,

We lay in stillness, a new love seeded.
